Make in Pune, an industry initiative powered by the KSH Group, is a platform that offers visitors to Pune and investors a complete 360-degree view of the city of Pune.
This is an initiative that seeks to foster an environment that is conducive to investment and innovation, enhancing skill sets and creating a favourable market for jobs.
More recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched 14 projects that have now firmly nudged Pune towards its mission of being developed as a Smart City.
This initiative will propel the growth of Pune and ensure infrastructural development.
Today, Pune is the ‘right city‘, in the ‘right place‘, at the ‘right time‘. If there is a time to ‘Make in Pune’, that time is Now!
PUNE AT A GLANCE
Over the years, Pune has transformed from a small town and pensioner’s paradise, to one of India’s leading hubs for the services, manufacturing financial, IT and education sectors. The 7th largest metropolis in India, Pune is today the most preferred business destination in the country that also generates ample jobs for its resident and migrant talent pool. Due to Pune’s proximity to Mumbai and relatively lower costs involved in setting up and managing businesses, the city has over time evolved as a much favoured destination for various global conglomerates as well as start-up firms and innovation centres.

What they have to say about Pune
Foreign companies have loved Pune and want to establish over here. Biggest drawback is the airport. When we asked the Chairman of Saudi India Council if he would come more often, he said “not at this airport”. Otherwise people are friendly, weather is good and Pune is very good.
"The fact that I've been to Pune 5 times while being based in Mumbai (for little over a year) shows my professional and personal interest in the city of Pune. It is a fantastic city to be in and for us it is also professionally an important city."
Pune is a very busy town with good development and potential and I would say “Make in Pune”
"Tomtom chose Pune because of the availability of talent pool especially in GIS and engineering, local knowledge of India road information which is necessary for us and easy international accessibility which is very important for any global company."
I think Pune is kind of unique because it is not as hectic as Mumbai but it can be as busy as you want it to be. From a work perspective you certainly do get everything in Pune as compared to any other big city. In fact the travel distance is not as hectic as many other cities.
